About Ryan

Ryan Takeda trained as a mechanical engineer and spent years designing fixtures and small production parts. 3D printing started as a prototyping tool at work and quickly became the main way he makes things.

Today Ryan runs a small print farm built around Bambu Lab machines. He prints functional parts, jigs and short production runs, which means every setting and filament has to hold up to daily use, not just a single test print.

At Bamboo3DPrinter, Ryan leads all hands on testing. He writes the printer reviews, filament tests and troubleshooting guides, and keeps them updated as firmware and Bambu Studio change.

How Ryan reviews

Every product is used on real projects for several weeks. Ryan measures accuracy, checks strength and surface finish, and notes any failures along the way. If a product does not earn a recommendation, it does not get one.
